We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of LockBench:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and business name when you create an account.
• Job and key records: Data you enter about jobs, clients, sites, and key systems as part of normal use of the service.
• Usage data: Pages visited and features used, collected to help us understand how LockBench is used and improve the product.
• Payment information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card numbers or full payment details on our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the LockBench service.
• Send transactional emails such as invoices, job notifications, and account alerts.
• Respond to your support requests and questions.
• Analyze usage patterns to prioritize and improve features.

We do not sell your data to third parties, ever.

We take the security of your data seriously:

• Your data is stored on SOC 2 compliant managed cloud infrastructure.
• All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS everywhere).
• Strict data isolation is enforced at the database level \u2014 your shop's data cannot be accessed by other accounts.
• Regular automated backups are performed to prevent data loss.

While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no system is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

LockBench relies on a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. We share only the minimum data necessary with each:

• Cloud database provider: Database hosting and authentication. Your account and business data is stored here.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe receives your billing information to process subscription payments.
• Mobile delivery platform: Delivery of LockBench mobile experiences, including the Progressive Web App and future native apps.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data shared with them.

You have control over your data. You can:

• Access your data at any time via the LockBench dashboard.
• Export your data in standard formats, including job records, key records, and invoices.
• Delete your account and data at any time. A 90-day retention period applies to allow for account recovery before permanent deletion.
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

• Data for active accounts is retained for the duration of your subscription.
• After cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days to allow for account recovery.
• After the 90-day recovery window, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
• Backup retention follows standard industry policy for your plan tier.

LockBench is a business software product intended for use by adults operating professional locksmith businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@lockbench.app and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our service evolves or legal requirements change.

• For material changes, we will notify you via email to the address associated with your account.
• The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was most recently revised.
• Continued use of LockBench after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
